How are businesses in Europe\u00a0leveraging\u00a0digital tools, online presence, and ever-evolving artificial intelligence?<\/span><\/i>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

European businesses have made\u00a0significant progress\u00a0in their digital presence<\/strong>, but they still need guidance<\/strong> to fully\u00a0leverage\u00a0the potential of digital tools and artificial intelligence.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the finding of a recent research study conducted by the <\/span>team.blue<\/span><\/b><\/a> <\/b>leading European group, with<\/span>\u00a0more than 60 brands\u00a0<\/span><\/b>and<\/span>\u00a03.5 million customers<\/span><\/b>\u00a0across Europe, of which\u00a0<\/span>Papaki\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/a>is a member, with the participation of\u00a0<\/span>23 brands<\/span><\/b>\u00a0(84% SMBs, 16% medium and large enterprises),\u00a0<\/span>32 countries<\/span><\/b>, and\u00a0<\/span>8,222 executives<\/span><\/b>\u00a0in senior positions.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What companies “say”<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n

They have adopted the digital basics<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

Most European businesses\u00a0say\u00a0they use essential tools such as\u00a0<\/span>websites\u00a0<\/span><\/b>(84.5%),\u00a0<\/span>social media<\/span><\/b>\u00a0(74%), and\u00a0<\/span>cloud\u00a0storage\u00a0tools<\/span><\/b>\u00a0(73%). However, far fewer seem to be using more advanced systems such as accessibility tools (15%) or CRM\/booking tools (25%)<\/strong>.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

However, despite the widespread adoption of basic digital media, their use\u00a0<\/span>does not always translate into business results<\/span><\/b>. This is because many websites function more as static pages that convey\u00a0<\/span>legitimacy, visibility, and\u00a0trust<\/span><\/b>\u00a0in the brand rather than as active sales channels.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In fact,\u00a0<\/span>more than 40%<\/span><\/b>\u00a0report that their website brings in<\/span>\u00a0less than 10%<\/span><\/b>\u00a0of new customers, while\u00a0<\/span>more than half (50%)\u00a0<\/span><\/b>are unaware of its actual impact.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Businesses want to evolve, but face practical barriers<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

Although\u00a0<\/span>technological confidence<\/span><\/b>, as\u00a0stated\u00a0by the companies themselves, appears to be\u00a0<\/span>high\u00a0<\/span><\/b>(7\/10 on average), progress is limited by\u00a0several\u00a0very practical factors, such as:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
