The InfoCom World 2025 took place again this year at the Divani Caravel on November 26, and Papaki was there for the second year as a Sponsor of the event, while also winning an important award.

The main theme of the conference, “AI-VOLUTION – A brave new world“, reflected the changes brought about by Artificial Intelligence and how it is already affecting the daily operations of businesses, regardless of their size.

The highlights for businesses at InfoCom World 2025

“AI-Volution” is now a reality and, as highlighted in the conference speeches, the “challenge” lies in the synergy of all development stakeholders to act as an “accelerator” for businesses. The aim is to invest in their digital transformation and to take advantage of the technological momentum as a unique opportunity for growth in the new era.

Let’s now look at five conclusions we have identified that are worth remembering.

1. AI is valuable only when it solves real problems

Artificial intelligence delivers value when it reduces costs, saves time, or simplifies processes. Before adopting ai solutions, businesses need clear objectives and must ensure that these solutions meaningfully improve their daily operations. A key prerequisite is the availability of digitized data, such as customer information, communications, sales, and records.

2. Investing in people and culture is key

AI acts as a support tool rather than a replacement for the human factor. Critical thinking and decision-making remain human skills.

Training through workshops and structured learning programs, as well as the establishment of clear policies for the secure use of AI, plays a decisive role. Emphasis was placed on the phenomenon of “Shadow AI”, where employees use AI tools without the company’s knowledge, potentially putting corporate data at risk.

3. Investing in AI happens step by step

At the conference, it became clear that there is no need for complex tools or large investments from the outset. By experimenting with ready-made, easy-to-use tools and automation solutions, businesses can achieve immediate results and evolve gradually, based on their actual needs.

4. Final control and responsibility remain to humans

As you may have already noticed by experience, AI is not always right, and models may produce errors. For this reason, in areas such as customer service, recruitment, financial management, legal matters, and personal data, human oversight and final responsibility remain essential.

5. Collaboration with specialized experts is essential

Digital transformation is a demanding journey for every company. Given the vast number of available AI solutions, choosing experienced partners and advisors from the technology and IT sectors is critical for businesses to move forward safely and strategically.
