Our History

The story of Papaki began in 2004 and it’s full of pleasant surprises, unexpected decisions, and variable changes. Papaki is part of the Enartia, the family brand of the company.

Papaki’s milestones

  • 2004

    Papaki was launched at Heraklion of Crete.

  • 2009

    Became No1 registrar for .GR and .EU domains in Greece and since then it is on top.

  • 2014

    Became the one and only ICANN accredited registrar in Greece.

  • 2015

    We are listed in the 5000 Inc. Europe 2015, which contains the top 5000 rapidly developing private enterprises of Europe.

    We are distinguished with the award for Customer Service in the category “Small Business”, (we won the first place in Customer Service, nationwide) at the National Customer Support Awards.

  • 2016

    Οur everyday life at Papaki, makes us one of the Best Workplaces in Greece in the competition Great Place to Work.

  • 2017

    Our service Managed WooCommerce Hosting is awarded at the E-volution Awards 2018.

    We are distinguished with two awards for Customer Service in the categories, “Team of the Year (small organization)” and “Customer service call centre of the year (small organization)” by the Hellenic Institute for Customer Service.

  • 2018

    After a thorough audit Papaki got certified with ISO 27001:2013 for our actions towards data security.

    ICANN renewed the accreditation of Papaki, which remains accredited registrar in Greece.

    Papaki won the Gold award for Best in B2B and the Bronze award in Services Infrastructure for Managed WooCommerce at
    E-volution Awards 2019.

    Papaki won the award Organization of the Year (Small Organization) in Customer Service.

    Papaki becomes part of the team.blue group

    Papaki is entering a new era: 17 years after its creation, it becomes part of the team.blue group. Team.blue is a leading digital enabler for companies and entrepreneurs which serves over 2 million customers in Europe and has more than 1.500 experts to support them.
