The first week of October for us is associated with the celebration of Customer Service organized by the Hellenic Institute of Customer Service (HICS). Like every year, at Papaki, we welcomed the National Customer Service Week (2-8/10) full of joy, games, gifts, and surprises for the Support team and our customers. It is the best opportunity to thank our people on the “front line” of customer support who every day give their best.
The message for this year was “Be part of this great celebration!” and, of course, we participated vigorously. In this article, you can find out our festive week’s agenda.
Monday: And the celebration is on!
The opening of the Customer Service Week was announced on Monday with the release of the festive agenda for the Support team. Moreover, we have prepared some special offers for our customers on our website on domains, Web hosting, and website builder. Also, there was a surprise for them. The first customer who contacted our call center earned a free .gr domain name registration for 2 years and an annual Large Web hosting plan.
Tuesday and Wednesday: Gaming tournament
“With the mouth open”
The second day started with the first tournament game for the Support team, where the players divided into pairs, and “With the mouth open” they tried to describe the expressions they saw on their cards. If their teammate understood the expression described, they won points.
“Find the most popular answer”
Imagination and humor were required for the players to find the most popular answer to unexpected questions. Divided into 2 opposing teams, they had to guess the correct answer, while the winning team members competed against each other for the final victory!
Thursday: Quiz and Case studies
Since the beginning of the week, we started an internal vote among all Papaki members for the most favorite customer experience agent and we all participated to say a special “thank you” to a colleague. The Head of Customer Experience shared the kind words from colleagues and the team’s mood soared!
Customer case studies
The greatest success is to have satisfied customers and that’s why the Support team gives their best every day. As part of this, CX managers shared tips and advice with the team, and also some case studies about disappointed customers who turned to the company’s best promoters. At the same time, everyone had the opportunity to share their own unique experiences.
Closing the week: Gifts and Winners
There is no celebration without gifts! So, during the week, every Customer Experience team member received a goody box. Every gift box contained a pair of VR glasses, a mug warmer, a webcam cover, a mini led ring light for the mobile, a mouse wrist support pad, a waterproof Bluetooth speaker, an antistress ball, and a named “Thank you” picture frame souvenir. And last but not least, they all enjoyed a meal of their choice.
The week ended with the announcement of the winners in the gaming tournament and the winners received a giftcard for purchases of their choice, while the winner of the internal vote will also receive the special National Customer Service Week 2023 trophy from the HICS.
