It was our pleasure and honor to be part of the e -volution awards and won the bronze award for the category E-Business Services & Infrastructure for Papaki’s Managed WooCommerce service.
E -volution awards are a big annual gathering of the greek e-commerce community. It took place on Friday 08 of December at the Hellenic Motor Museum. More than 500 executives of the e-commerce market were there to talk about the best practices of eShops and businesses.
The awards are organized by Marketing Week and Boussias Communications. The aim is to highlight innovative and good practices in e-commerce. Also, it is a great opportunity to meet other people from the industry, that you share the same concerns and face similar challenges every day.
With the co-organization of Eltrun and GR.E.CA, e-volution awards have been established in the conscience of the Greek market as prestigious awards and a distinction like this is a legacy for each participant.
As every year, the event was attended by country’s leading eShops and e-commerce agencies to reward the best e-commerce agency of the year and the best Greek eShop that will represent our country in European E-Commerce Awards.
A special moment of the event was the honorary awards. For their offer at e-commerce industry, Odysseas Charalambous, Vice President of CISCO Eastern Europe and Anna Diamantopoulou, former EU Commissioner and former Minister, received an honorary award.
The Big Winners!
The e-commerce agency of the year was Sleed, while the Best Greek e-shop by GR.E.CA was MediaMarkt.gr, that will represent Greece at the Pan-European Competition in Barcelona.
Papaki’s team went on stage to receive the award. We were excited about this important distinction! However, the evening had a double festive character! This year, e-commerce is closing 25 years since its appearance as a concept in Greece in the early 1990s. Rewarding good practices brings inspiration and motivation for more effective efforts in the field of e-commerce.
Finally, CEO of GR.E.CA, Paris Koroneos, said that “Another year ends with a positive sign. GR.E.CA has contributed to this rising course of e-commerce. I want to thank its BoD members for their cooperation and support to do all this. Congratulations to all the companies that took part today and of course to the winners. ”
